These precious little kids were alone in the street outside the children's home. The guards told us that the grandmother leaves them there when she goes to work because she knows if the stay near our guards they will be safe till she gets home. Some of the folks on the team gave them some food to eat because they looked hungry.

These precious little kids were alone in the street outside the children's home. The guards told us that the grandmother leaves them there when she goes to work because she knows if the stay near our guards they will be safe till she gets home. That is just so sad. This missions trip has to be one of the most rewarding things you all have done. Thank you all, for the sacrifices made in order to help these children at the orphanage. The pictures my son has sent and in this blog have really opened my eyes. Like I told my son (Darryl) it has to be bittersweet leaving, glad to be home with your families, but pulling at your heart having to leave these sweet children and the further work that needs done behind.
